We would like to propose a feature that allows users to select the ringback tone a caller hears based on the country of the phone number they are calling.
For example, if a customer is calling an Australian JustCall number, they would hear the standard Australian dialling tone rather than a generic or non local tone. The same would apply for other countries such as the UK, New Zealand, or the US.
This feature would significantly improve call authenticity and reduce the risk of callers identifying the call as being routed through a virtual or cloud based system. In industries such as mystery shopping, customer research, and franchise compliance programs, callers are often very sensitive to small call signal cues. A non local ringback tone can immediately raise suspicion and impact the validity of the interaction.
From a user perspective, this could be implemented as either
• An automatic setting where ringback tone defaults to the country of the number
• Or a manual setting where admins can select the ringback tone per number or campaign
The benefit to JustCall is improved realism, higher customer trust, and reduced churn for clients operating across multiple regions who rely on local call behaviour to protect their commercial relationships.
This would position JustCall as a more region aware and enterprise ready calling platform, particularly for compliance sensitive use cases.
