Ability to playback / confirm dropped voicemail delivery in Sales Dialer

Problem Statement:
Customers using the Sales Dialer currently have no visibility into whether a dropped voicemail was successfully delivered, as dropped voicemails are not recorded or accessible for playback.

Customer Use Case:
Agents drop voicemails using the account-level voicemail option and assign disposition codes. Customers want the ability to:

  • Play back the voicemail that was dropped, or

  • At minimum, confirm that the voicemail was successfully delivered to the end user

This is especially important for QA, compliance, and agent performance verification.

Current Behavior:

  • Once an agent clicks Drop Voicemail, the system disconnects the agent.

  • The voicemail is delivered by the system.

  • No recording or delivery confirmation is available for review.

Expected / Desired Behavior:

  • Ability to replay dropped voicemail recordings OR

  • A delivery confirmation/status indicator (e.g., delivered / failed)

Impact:

  • Limits visibility for QA and audit purposes

  • No way to validate voicemail delivery

  • Reduced confidence in voicemail-based outreach
